Blenheim Cavalier King Charles
A Blenheim Cavalier features a white background and chestnut markings, and receive the name Blenheim out of tribute to Blenheim Palace where the Duke of Marlborough used to raise this very popular breed.
Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
A Ruby Cavalier is intended to be entirely chestnut in color but it is common for them to feature some white in their coats. A little white in the coat is obviously not in important in a companion Cavalier, but if is a dog for showing, a 100% chestnut colored-coat is essential.
Tri Color Cavalier King Charles
Tri color Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are a wonderful mixture of white, tan and black. The ears and area surrounding the eyes will be black, separated by a splash of white.
Tricolors have tan markings over the eyes, on the cheeks and beneath the tail. This color combination is the most unusual and often carries the highest price tag.
